It’s a brand new year at Crane Creek Disc Golf Activities. We took over the weeklies in July and it was six months we enjoyed greatly. We hope that this year will be even more enjoyable for all. We have some old activities are returning, some of them with enhancements or new twists, and we will have some new ones beginning.
First of all, we have new, improved, 2012 bag tags on sale!. Last year’s tags needed to only last for 6 months (and some didn’t make it that long). We learn from our mistakes. This years’ bag tags are more sturdy, visible and generally better. The price of the 2012 tags will be the same as last years’. There will be some changes to the events themselves. Check out the Bag Tag Events page for details We will kick off the Challenge year on January 14th at 10am. The monthly Bag Tag Challenges will continue to be held at 10am on the Saturday nearest the middle of the month. For 2012, the Disc Golf Outlaws sponsor the “Renegade Series Ace Craze”, and all Crane Creek Disc Golf Activities will participate in the series. Players participating in any of the organized Crane Creek Events will get points for their aces that will result in awards next December. 2012 will see an enhancement to our Weekly Random Doubles held every Sunday at 2pm. On random days…(hummm…random days of random doubles..having trouble getting my head around that one, especially on New Year’s day) we will have “So Sorry” days. Just a little something to feed the ‘mean streak’ in all of us. You’ll find out more when Random Doubles return on January 8th.
